It is a blatant piece of BBC propaganda timed to influence Ofcom's review of public service broadcasting, but it is none the worse for that. And as I am on a bit of a 'big up' the BBC thing today I urge you to have a look at it.
Fry is both a BBC insider and someone with a good understanding of digital media, so for those who are interested in the future of PSB (and that should be everyone who reads this blog) his views are well worth listening to. He also says an awful lot that I agree with and indeed have argued on similar lines myself in the past. Of course he does so much more eloquently. A thousand times more eloquently;
"Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly. Levity always beats gravity."
